Welcome my newest hire!

Banjo, seen here already snoozing on the job, showed up at my office (aka home) during a snowstorm and our family of 3 became a family of 4.

Aero, my partner’s first pup, is the CNO of Grayce Holcomb Creative (Chief Nap Officer for those of y’all unfamiliar with C-Suite titles). His duties include napping on the couch, napping on the floor by the couch, napping by my feet and occasionally telling me to take a break to scratch his ears. That’s a lot of work for one dog, so we’ve decided to take on another hire to help Aero with his duties. Banjo’s official title is Assistant to the CNO, and his duties include napping in the sunlight, trying to fit in my office chair for a nap, notifying us when the mail is delivered, and playing tug-of-war with Aero during lunch time.

I am like, so unbelievably grateful that my team is growing. It took untold hours of positive self-talk that I was strong enough to get to the place in my business where I can bring on more help. I started with nothing, and today we are three. Do I pay them? Well… we have snacks at the office and the reward of loving your work is priceless isn’t it?

Aero and Banjo take their jobs very seriously at Grayce Holcomb Creative Co. Those ears aren’t going to scratch themselves.
